Determined Hike for Alzheimer's · 9 September 2022

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

Story

A group of adventurous and ambitious Planners take to the streets and countryside of Kent and West Sussex to walk from our Crawley office in the centre of Crawley all the way to our Maidstone office, just off junction 7 of the M20 to raise money for our Charity of the Year - Alzheimer's Research UK.

On 9 September, 20 of our team will begin our journey just before dawn to embark on the 43 mile walk. The route will take us through East Grinstead with a short pit stop at Penshurst for lunch, heading up to Tonbridge and then the final stretch to Maidstone which we hope to reach just before midnight.

This is no mean feat and certainly there will be some unsightly feet at the end of the journey. We would love it if you could support us in reaching our target and more importantly provide that all important funding for ground breaking research into Alzheimer's.

We will keep this page updated on fundraising and our practice walks and for anyone that would like to help on the day or support us on the streets please get in touch via info@dhaplanning.co.uk
