A bit of background, Dave and I fancied a challenge and having never done any form of triathlon in our lives....we thought it would be fun to sign up to one of the worlds toughest! For those of you who don’t know what an IRONMAN is; it’s a triathlon which consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and then finishes off with a full marathon around the beautiful landscape of Tenby, Pembrokeshire!! 

We thought we might as well use this challenge as an opportunity to raise some money for a great cause Make-A-Wish.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will be on our minds with every stroke, spin and stride! 

Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold. We want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!
