Story
Some of you may already know that back in January, my dad had a freak accident on his motorbike. It pinned him to a bollard, breaking his ribs which punctured his lung, cracking some vertebrae and tearing a hole in his spleen. After what felt like an eternity in hospital he is now home and on his way to making a full recovery but, had the amazing crew at London's Air Ambulance not been so fast to respond this would be a memorial page. We literally owe them his life so the least we can do to thank them, along with bringing them cake, is to raise them some cash.
Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race does what it says on the tin and we'll be on the start line on Easter Friday - Alex in the boat and me on support. 4 days later we'll arrive at Westminster Bridge.
You may or may not be interested in the event, that's not what's important. What's important is that we are doing it to raise awareness and cash for London's Air Ambulance. They are life savers and they care, so let's show them we care too. Please give what you can, no amount is too small but if you can afford to dig a little deeper please do. I hope your family never needs the services of this amazing team but if they do then let's please keep them operating with the best equipment possible.
Thank you x
