On the 4th and 5th of August, me, my sister Nancy and dad Kevin are doing a sponsored walk for Child Bereavement UK in memory of our cousin and niece Daisy. We are going to camp in the Lake District and walk Helveyln and Blencathra over the two days. 

Daisy was an incredibly kind and talented young woman with a heart of gold and a voice that would make you go “WOW!” Child Bereavement was close to her heart and she actually ran a 10k race for the charity in UK early 2022. 

When we were children, my sister and I would count down the days when Daisy and her siblings would come up to visit us. When they stayed we would play on the moors, go on lots of walks and play silly games! Daisy used to call our home “Norkshire” which would always make us giggle. The memories are still as strong as they were when they were made. As we grew up our reunions up became less often but we would always keep in touch over social media and admire Daisy’s incredible skill as a musical theatre performer.
