Story
Daisy joined her Daddy over the rainbow on 31st January 2017. We had 12 wonderful years with her, more than we ever thought we would have. For almost all of that time our friends at ShootingStar-Chase hospice walked our journey alongside us, supporting us both at Christophers and ShootingStar-House and through the hospice at home team. They cared for Daisy when Andy died and, as they always promised, they are helping us fulfill our wishes for Daisy now that she has passed on. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for the support our family has received over the years from this place, it is above and beyond and has made the unbearable just a little more bearable.
Many of you want to do something to honour our beautiful girl's wonderful life. Please make a donation in her name to our hospice, they receive minimal guaranteed funding yet there is more and more demand for their services. As medical science improves, life limited children are living longer and this in turn has an impact on hospice services. Daisy was not expected to have 12 years but thanks to the support of ShootingStar-Chase they were 12 years of fun, laughter and the most precious memories. I know that Daisy would want us to honour her beautiful, full life in this way.
