At the age of 9, Lou started developing hives and it took another 3+ years to finally be diagnosed with Lupus. For many years she suffered the side affects and took copious amounts of medication. She lived a relatively normal life buying a home and finding love until she reached 26 and left the family totally heartbroken by passing away. I’d like to start raising money to help the medical teams find a way to treat this auto-immune disorder as it is so common.
