Welcome to the Swim 5 Miles in August Challenge for the American Cancer Society! You are joining the American Cancer Society, a registered 501(c)(3) dedicated to improving the lives of people facing cancer and their families.

Story

On September 10, 2023 we lost my Mom, Susan, after a short but victorious battle with lung cancer. I'm Swimming 5 Miles in August to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. This is a very meaningful cause for me.

I also want you to know that Lincoln and I did the math, and to meet this challenge, I need to swim 50 laps in our pool at least 20 of the 31 days in August. I’ve already completed the first day on August 1!
