WheelPower provides and promotes opportunities for thousands of children and young adults with disabilities to participate in recreational and competitive wheelchair sport and improve their quality of life.

Story

Hi,

Over the next 14 months I will be completing 12 challenging events to raise money for Wheelpower. Wheelpower are a British charity inspiring and providing sporting opportunities for disabled people

http://www.wheelpower.org.uk/WPower/index.cfm

On June 16 I summited Mt, Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. With the same friend I completed the first of many triathlons. The final event of the challenge will be the big one covering 155km through water and over mountains by foot and bike in August 2011.

Numerous friends will be helping me along the way in training and in participating in the events. Thanks to you all and to all that have sponsored me. Special thanks must go to BannerConnect for their generosity and support:

"We are proud to support such a noble cause and wish Daniel Absolon the best of luck in the upcoming Triathlons. We’ve been supporting local charity organisations like ‘Kick for Hope’ in The Netherlands for years now. Kick for Hope raises money to support the fight against cancer. It seemed fair to continue this great tradition now we’ve opened an office in London.

BannerConnect has been an expert on automated ad trading since 2004 and was the first company in the world active on an ad exchange. We believe our people are the key to our success and their optimisations can outperform even the most sophisticated algorithms. Since we are completely independent we can advise you objectively on all possible media buying options."
