Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Brighton Marathon 2011 and trying to raise as much money as possible for breakthrough breastcancer http://breakthrough.org.uk/ . Its a charity that means a lot to me after losing my Mum to breast cancer 10 years ago. Please have a look at the site, they do a lot of great work.

I had never really done any long distance running before now but fancied a challenge and thought why not give it a go. I've been in training now since last September and touch wood its all going good so far and i've had no injuries.

My diet has been overhauled by cutting out the alcohol, chocolate and the Ben and Jerry's...and for those of you that know me well know that that was a fair bit of what went down my neck. I've also had to start eating green stuff like lots of broccoli and vegetables (for those of you that also know me will know that these where not my favourite of foods).
