I am a young Maxillofacial Surgery trainee who has been inspired by the spirit and fortitude of my patients who have been affected by mouth cancer, and those who help care for and support these families and patients.

The Mouth Cancer Foundation is a charity dedicated to helping and supporting those suffering from or at risk of mouth cancer, throat cancer and other head and neck cancers, as well as providing assistance and information on living with mouth cancer for families, friends and carers.

To show my admiration and appreciation for the hard hard work the Mouth Cancer Foundation does for my patients and their families, I have swapped out my scrubs for running shoes and will be running my first London Marathon to raise awareness (and hopefully a bit of money) to help this organisation continue their great work!

Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way (maybe even further than I will be running!) to helping support those who show such courage in dealing with mouth cancer.
