Women are still getting breast cancer and dying from it. That’s why Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer have joined forces to become the UK’s largest dedicated breast cancer research charity. And with your help, together we can put an end to breast cancer, once and for all.

Story

I am Danielle Ash and just a year ago I was overweight, unhealthy and had no energy. In a year I have become passionate about improving my health and others around me. So this year I am running at least 5 half marathons, swimming 5km, and looking into entering triathlons. I have chosen this charity because breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and thanks to research, more people are surviving breast cancer than ever before. Over 80% of women with breast cancer are still alive five years after diagnosis. But around 50,000 women are still diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and around 12,000 women die of the disease each year. Although i have never been personally affected by breast cancer i certainly know people who's families have. So if you could donate that would be amazing however this is overall for many events and raising money will be really rewarding. So thank you everyone who donates and Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
