London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice. I am proud to be running the London Marathon on 23rd April 2023 on behalf of this incredible charity.

Sadly my family and I know all too well how cruel Alzheimer's can be, having watched my Grandad (Phil Quinlan) suffer with it for several years before we lost him on Christmas Day 2017.

In his memory and to raise as much money as possible for an amazing cause I have set myself the terrifying challenge of running the London Marathon. Many of you will know I am completely addicted to F45, but can often be found moaning about how much I loathe running... so of course running a 26.2mi race seemed like the most suitable challenge for me! I would be incredibly grateful for any sponsorship you are able to give. Thank you.
