Every year London Zoo email to ask me to take part in their Stampede event – a 10k run through London Zoo and Regents’ Park. I have finally decided to join in and also help raise money for them.

ZSL is a charity devoted to the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats. They run conservation programmes in Britain and over 50 countries worldwide, working with local communities to conserve their environment and promote sustainability.

Your donation could help with the on-going work of ZSL as a whole or one of their specific conservation projects:

£5 could keep one of the London Zoo penguins fed and healthy for a week

£10 could feed a baby elephant at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo bananas for a day

£25 could feed a gorilla fruit and vegetables for a week

£50 could pay for local field staff to work on gorilla or tiger conservation projects for a week
