Hi guys, over the last few years I have been a part of an organisation dedicated to supporting young Afro-Caribbean men from inner-city London. The Amos bursary. Through them I  have done marvelous things and been given amazing opportunities, yet the biggest has just arrived. I have recently been confirmed as one of the winners of the NYE (New York experience), a programme  which awards 10 students from the Bursary with the opportunity to have a prestigious internship in New York.

However, the rules of the programme dictate that to participate in the programme each student must raise £700 towards the trip. And that is what I am asking you to do today. Could you please help me raise over £700 for the trip.

But why should you give? The Amos bursary is doing amazing things to reshape the image of the young Black man in inner-city london. The excess money that I raise will go back to the bursary, enabling them to support even more young men.

For me, this internship couldn't be more rewarding. Over 60% of employers state that they actively look for individuals with over seas work experience, as they believe having that experience makes them more employable. so you would be really helping my career prospects. But above all, you should see this as an investment. An investment into the future of our communities, by supporting we keen on making major differences in the future. Thank you.
