Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our just giving page.

This is for a man who was a much loved Uncle , father , brother and most of all friend. He was loyal to his family and friends like no one ive ever known. Unfortunately his life was a difficult one but he would rarely show it, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2006 and sought help, unfortunately it was all to late and Pete took his own life on the 2nd of April 2007 sending a devastating wave through our family.

Many friends/family have been affected by mental illness , we all know someone who has suffered and still do on a daily basis , lets show them its not something to be ashamed of , or to not talk about lets show them we understand and will help raise awareness so people dont hide from it but stand up, get help and get their life back which is what SAMH strive to do MENTAL HEALTH LETS GET RID OF THE STIGMA !!.

To do our bit in this fight we are climbing Ben Nevis on the 28th of April 2012 so help us by either dusting off yer hiking boots or by donating whatever you can to this page spread the word xx
