I'm running my first half marathon on October 20th and have chosen to endure it in aid of Cancer research. Like most families at some stage cancer has devastated our family on more than one occasion. In February 2008 we lost Sam who was just 33 and Mom to my girls Jessica and Ellie, more recently our cousin Kirsty was taken at just 38 years old and I have friends who are currently battling with the disease.....i'll be running it for them but you can donate in the memory or name of anyone you like.

Please no matter how large or small give what you can to this worthy cause and to help support and encourage me around the streets of Birmingham....3 weeks into training I'm now convinced I'm going to need all the support and encouragement I can get :-).
