The veterans football club, Northop Hall Old Boys have raised considerable sums of money for charitable organisations over the years, usually ones that are personally relevant to our team or those we play regularly.  This year's efforts are concentrating on Ronald McDonald House at Arrowe Park Hospital, in recognition of the support they gave to our long-standing team-mate Craig Jones and his wife Liz with their prematurely born twin girls, Madelyn and Emelia weighing just 1lb 5 and 1lb 4 respectively at their unexpected early birth. After many months and several operations in hospital, with their anxious parents on hand to monitor their progress, they have thankfully developed to a point where they are now both home and progressing well.  Craig asked if the club could support the charity that enabled them to stay close to their tiny daughters during that difficult time and we are more than happy to oblige.
