Story

When Abigail was 6 she was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma (a cancer of her nervous system which had spread to her bones and bone marrow). She undergone a lot of aggressive treatment over 2 years  including chemotherapy, surgery, a stem cell transplant, radiotherapy and immunotherapy. She's been in remission for a year. 10/15 years a go there was no treatment for neuroblastoma at this stage, if there hadn't of been research and clinical trials she wouldn't have got better. The research is ongoing and Abigail was also in a clinal trial to try a drug to prevent her cancer returning. We feel strongly about this cause to help other children like Abigail with different types of cancers have a fighting chance of getting better, and to find new treatments which are less agressive on these children, but as effective.

So myself Ray Ware, Michael Caren, Tom Simpson and Craig obrien would  like to start by raising money by cycling from Liverpool to London, and hopefully we'll still be breathing when we arrive at Buckingham Palace gates. We are aiming to raise £2000 to donate to Alder Hey Children's Charity.
