Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I found out about pancreatic cancer when a good friend of mine was diagnosed. 33 days later he passed away.
Seth was a good man and one of the most genuinely funny guys I have ever known. Running a half marathon is least I could do to raise money and awareness of this terrible disease.
What Lesley has done already for pancreatic cancer uk is amazing, so if I can help in a small way towards Lesley's goal of raising £49,000 (£1000 for every year of Seth's life), it's the absolutely the least I can do.
Survival rates for this awful disease have hardly changed in 40 years. Pancreatic cancer UK help fund ground breaking research in to the cause, treatment and cure of pancreatic cancer, provide comprehensive information and emotional support to patients and their families, and campaign to ensure that pancreatic cancer is recognised as a priority by health care providers.
They need to continue this work to achieve their vision of a long and good life for everyone diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and they can only do this with the help of their fantastic supporters.
