Story
I’m part of a group of intrepid volunteers who have agreed to walk a marathon distance (26 miles) in the Pyrenees around Lourdes in South-West France, in February! We are all raising money for the Midlands Region of HCPT, who offer "life-changing pilgrimage holidays" to children and young adults, with a variety of challenges, every Easter, staying in hotels in Lourdes, and throughout the year at Hosanna House, its own specially adapted base just outside Lourdes at Bartres in the foothills of the Pyrenees. All the helpers, nurses and chaplains give up their time to live for the week in family groups, caring and sharing together.
