Like many people I have been affected by family members who have sadly died from Cancer. Including my Gran who is in the photo at my graduation below.

As a Doctor I frequently see people with a cancer diagnosis. I am also a member of a Cancer Alliance and understand the ongoing challenges in making advances to defeating this condition.

This is probably the stiffest physical test that I have ever undertaken in my life and the addition  of doing it for a good cause will hopefully provide me with a reason when things get tough.
