Story

London marathon done (see pics below)! Amazing!

Every year my family and I do many road races including Baker hughes 10k, Balmoral 10k and Aviemore half. This year my sister and I have been very lucky in getting a place in the London Marathon! After the London marathon. I also hope to do Olympic distance triathlon and half ironman!

This page is sponsorship for London marathon, Olympic triathlon and half ironman.

Now, Ive questioned whether or not I have the drive and overall fitness to achieve my dream of completing my first London Marathon  and half Ironman but with the help of a very good friend of mine Ewan (athlete!), I hope this will come true.

I have decided since I am pushing myself further than anything I have ever done before that I'd like to raise some money for one of the most important charities out there...UK Stem Cell Foundation.

Stem cell research is the most promising area of medical science today. Stem Cells are the basic building blocks of life. They offer great potential to treat many degenerative conditions that affect us all - Cancer, Leaukemia, Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, heart disease, Alzheimers, Motor Neurone Disease. I strongly believe donating money torwards reasearch is by far the most important area your money can go. We have all had a close member of family directly affected by one of the diseases mentioned above.

There are many just giving pages around these days so I'm not going to preach about you digging deep into your pockets and donating but please, if you feel this charity is worth donating for then I would be most appreciative of your donation.

Furthering stem cell research would benefit everybody in some way for sure.

I will post some updates of training!

Well done to my sis on her first marathon. Very proud of you!
