As some of you may know our daughter Katy Hartzig died at 15 weeks old in October 2005 after she was born with Spinal Muscular Astrophy.

After the nightmare of being in York hospital where dealing with a terminal condition is not the norm, Katy was transfered to Martin House children's hospice. This is a magical place where through despair and sadness you have the opportunity to be normal again. Through all our dealings with Martin House they were absolutely wonderful in every way possible and made a very sad time in our lives bearable.  It is now possible for us to give something back to them in the way they need it most.  Please help us to thank them and  make it possible for them to keep helping other families like us.
