Taking on this challenge to support the Hopper family and friends raise much needed funds for the fantastic service provided by the Eden Valley Hospice. This is one way in which we can keep Tony’s legacy alive and help others just as he did for so many years.

On 9th October 2018 all our worlds changed forever. Tony Hopper aged 42 died of Motor Neurone disease leaving behind his three boys and wife Sue. Tony was a very much loved Son, Uncle, Brother and Friend amongst many other titles, but above all else he was a very special, loving and warm person. There are few people who make an impact like Tony did in his short life and anyone who knew him, was proud to know him. I for one am extremely proud to have classed him as a friend as well as team mate for so many years.

It was Tony’s wish that any fundraising was aimed at Eden Valley Hospice. Motor neurone is a cruel disease. There are not many places that can deal with the complex care that is required, we are so lucky to have this on our doorstep.
