Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Peter's JustGiving page.

Peter Jamieson died suddenly but peacefully on 3rd December 2012 in Bangkok where he was headteacher of the primary section of Bromsgove International School. He loved his job and it is clear that he too was loved by teachers, parents and children at the school.

He radiated fun and good humour wherever he went, both in his professional and private life. At the school he excelled in bringing IT to the teaching of children and had built up considerable expertise in this area.

He loved the children he taught, he loved animals and always took the side of the underdog.

The charity, Cricket Without Boundaries (CWB) resonates with so much of what Peter stood for in his short life. CWB promotes HIV/AIDS awareness throughout the world, particularly in Africa, bringing the messages through the joy of playing cricket.

The charity was set up by a group of young people of Peter's age to help make the lives of children better. This is what Peter strove to achieve - I hope you can make a contribution in memory of Peter to this excellent cause.

About the charity

Cricket Without Boundaries is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. Crucially, CWB also uses cricket as a tool in the fight against AIDS. CWB’s training sessions have at their heart discussion about the disease in terms of prevention, treatment and equality of treatment for those with and without the disease.
