Story
My name is David Jones, I was diagnosed with terminal Bowel Cancer in May 2020 and have since undergone major surgery to remove a large tumour from my colon, unfortunately the cancer spread and I subsequently had tumours in my liver, spleen and lining of my stomach. I have been fortunate enough to have been given Chemotherapy and this has had a positive impact on not only my condition but also my quality of life.
You may be aware that Bowel Cancer is one of the largest terminal illness in the world and despite continued research, to date there is still no cure for my particular type of cancer.
I am therefore committed to raising as much awareness and the vital funds needed for Bowel Cancer UK.
The UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. We’re here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
