I'm running the British 10k and the Great North Run half marathon to raise some money for Different Strokes a charity for younger stroke survivors.

I had a stroke aged 46 and although I'm physically OK, the brain damage the stroke caused has left me with some cognitive issues. Different Strokes have been amazing and have helped me so much with their support and encouragement.
