Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, it's really Ben's JustGiving page. Ben is my four-year-old son. He has quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Ben cannot safely sit unaided and he cannot walk without a frame.

For most of his life, Ben has been supported by the Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity. His visits to the charity's pre-school for children with cerebral palsy have been one of the highlights of his week.

Ben has now finished at the school as he starts at a local primary in September. We don't want to leave without saying thank you, and without raising some money for a charity which has made such a big contribution to our lives.

So, Ben is entering a fantastic event called Parallel London on September 4th 2016. There are races for all ages and all abilities. Ben will be walking 100 metres in his brilliant Leckey Kidwalk walking frame.

Many thanks for any donation.
