My twin daughters, Mia and Emily, have autism. During the early stages of Mia's secondary education it soon became apparent that mainstream was not going to be able to provide for Mia's individual needs and, as a family, life was extremely difficult.

Thankfully, we were introduced to West Heath School and her life started to get back on track. Mia and Emily are now approaching their 20th birthday, but the school continues to offer Mia vital support . 

West Heath has, literally, transformed Mia's life and that of her family, and for that we will always be truly grateful.

Many of the children attending come from difficult backgrounds, and any funds raised are used to provide places for children that are unable to secure funding from education authorities.

These places give more children like Mia the opportunity to rebuild their lives, and I am keen to use the fact that I'm running a marathon to raise funds, so would be grateful for every penny donated. Please help transform a child's life!
