18 months ago I lost a dear friend and colleague Rick Wolverson. Rick was an inspiration to all who knew him, his fight, determination , wit and perseverance were to be unrivalled. Unfortunately Rick lost his 6 year battle with his tumour leaving his wife Sarah and 2 amazing boys Oliver and Harry. Rick is sorely missed by them and all that knew him. I promised Rick in his last few months that I would complete the event that he always wanted to do as a keen triathlete, so in July I will be taking to Holme pier point in Ricks wetsuit to start what will be a 12hr+ epic and hopefully raising plenty of cash for this great charity.
