Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Some of you may know that I am a volunteer Director at Beaumond House Hospice in Newark. I realise I am a bit biased but they do an amazing job, helping people with life limiting illnesses. However, it costs nearly £1 million to keep the blue door open every year, and they have to raise over £700k of this every year through fundraising. 

So after the excesses of holidays and Christmas I have decided to lose at least 30lbs (that's just over 2 stone) between 1st Jan and 1st Nov 2017, to celebrate their 30th anniversary of providing hospice care in Newark. If you are able and willing to support me, I and Beaumond House would be very grateful. As an extra incentive for me to complete this, if I should miss the target I will donate 5% of the total amount pledged for each pound in weight I miss it by. So the more that is pledged, the more incentive I have to make it happen! Gill is going to be the official adjudicator in this, and has already witnessed my starting weight.
