In Memory of my wife Charlotte who recently passed away from cancer at Weston Park Cancer Hospital in Sheffield after a brave, incredible and awe inspiring battle with this cruel disease.
Me and a group of friends and family (Abi,Rob,Chris,Sarah,Luke,Shaun,Sig,Adele) are taking on the national three peak challenge in 24 hours to raise as much money as possible for Weston Park Cancer Charity.
Weston Park Cancer Charity have spent a lot of time raising money so that patients are comfortable on the wards. The Charity pays for things that in normal life would seem so small like fans, modern tvs, complementary therapies and many other things like the wifi in the hospital. Which was great because this meant that me and Charlotte could catch up on TV or watch a film together and for Charlotte to be able to video call her friends and family.
Weston Park Cancer Charity raises funds to improve the lives of people living with cancer through offering such items and services. Weston Park Hospital is the region’s only specialist cancer hospital, providing care for thousands of patients across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.
Through the dedicated and tireless efforts of the local community, corporate partners, donors and volunteers, the charity has raised over £22million, since beginning in 1994, to improve the lives of those fighting cancer.
Every single £ counts and we are extremely thankful of every donation little or large.
