Story

As many of you will know in 2021, I went for a doctor’s appointment completely unrelated to Prostate Cancer but as part of that appointment the Doctor checked my prostate and found it to be enlarged. I then had various scans, a biopsy and eventually a nine-hour operation to robotically remove my cancerous prostate. At no time did I have any obvious symptoms so I was very, very lucky as I could well have been oblivious until it was too late. If there are men reading this that haven’t had a PSA test or other examination, please, please do, a finger up the bum is better that half a day out with the undertaker.

This November I have joined the Prostate Cancer Research fund raiser Walk 60 miles in November. The challenge itself should be quite enjoyable but if I raise a little bit of money for this vital cause, brilliant, but more importantly if one man has a test because of it then that is my ultimate reward. Please give if you can but men, please get a test and everyone else please pester your loved ones to do

Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Whether you donate £5 or £500, you will be helping to make a change for men who have been impacted by prostate cancer.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡
