Story
David died at home in Totnes on 14th September 2016 after a heart attack. He was 89.
Rather than flowers, we are asking friends and former colleagues of David to make a donation to WaterAid.
As a human and social geographer, the plight of marginalised people in the modern world was very close to David's heart.
He saw some of these developing world challenges at first hand as part of his working life was spent in Africa and the Middle East doing land surveying.
David supported many charities but Wateraid seems, to his loving family, to combine these passions with his enthusiasm for alternative technology and simple practical solutions to make a real difference to peoples' lives. Please give generously.
