Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page. I joined the Ark Riders in 2017 after hearing about the Ark Cancer Centre and hoped I could help to make a difference. 

I cycled with the Ark Riders from Basingstoke to Paris in 2017 then in 2018 on a very hot July weekend cycled from Basingstoke to Bournemouth and back.

This year I have signed up again and on the 17th July we are starting our cycle of 453 miles taking in 5 countries, UK, France, Belgium,  Holland and ending in Cologne Germany all in support of this fantastic cancer charity which will provide treatment and supportive care for cancer patients and families. 

Any support would be greatly appreciated as I don't think there are many people who either themselves, family or friends have not been affected by this cruel disease.

The new cancer treatment centre has been designed to improve patient experience. It will offer a holistic approach to cancer care by co-location of treatments and support in a safe and human environment.Chemotherapy treatment is already given in Basingstoke and Winchester, but patients have to travel to Southampton or Guildford for radiotherapy. This can mean a journey everyday for up to six weeks when patients are feeling unwell and vulnerable.
