Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I last ran the marathon distance in 2019, in Edinburgh, in memory of my late father in law, Charlie, whilst raising money for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. It was an amazing (albeit tough) experience, and one that I will always remember. I am still extremely grateful for everyone who donated and helped me raise over £1800.

The time has come for me to challenge myself the distance again, this time London is calling me.

It has been 5 years since Charlie passed away and in that time huge progress has been made in the cancer field with regards to diagnosis and treatment. Roy Castle Lung Cancer foundation is at the forefront of this and is campaigning for lung cancer screening to be made available to detect lung cancer early. 

Charlie is still at the forefront of my mind, we all miss him massively. I’m proud that he inspired me to become more active and undertake my running journey.
