Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

In 2014 my wife Marie was diagnosed with Lobular Breast Cancer. Thanks to the expertise and wonderful care at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital , Breast Cancer Care Unit she has made a full recovery. I can not express our gratitude or the joy I feel at having Marie still in my life. Every day they do fantastic work and my way of saying Thank You is to try and do something fantastic as well in order to try raise money to enable them to continue their wonderful work. I hit upon the idea of a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro. At 19000 feet it is the highest mountain in Africa and will take 8 days to trek to the top. I will be accompanied by the Trekking Penguin. He will also go with me to Ben Nevis as we train for the event in February 2017.
