Story
This October, I’m taking on 90 miles to raise funds for Mind, a charity that supports a cause incredibly close to my heart.
I’ll be honest — the last decade hasn’t exactly been a smooth ride. I’ve had my fair share of ups, downs, loop-the-loops, and the occasional emotional crash landing. Between learning to manage panic disorder and testing out so many different medications that I sometimes wasn’t sure if I was coming, going, or doing both at once — it’s been… a journey.
Like a lot of guys, I used to keep everything bottled up. “I’m fine” was my catchphrase — even when I wasn’t. But these days, I’m doing the exact bloody opposite. I’m talking, sharing, and trying to raise awareness because nobody should have to struggle in silence.
Mind does an incredible job supporting people with mental health challenges, and I’d do just about anything to give back and help them continue their work — even if it means walking, limping, and maybe crawling through 90 miles.
If you can spare anything at all, every single penny is hugely appreciated — genuinely. And even if you can’t donate, just sharing this or sending a bit of encouragement means the world. ❤️
I love and appreciate you all more than you know. And as always — if you ever need anything — a chat, a hug, a terrible joke, or just someone to sit with you while you have a damn good cry — you know where I am.
Let’s do this. Together. 🫶
