#TeamPCR are running the TCS London Marathon 2022 to support innovative scientists developing more effective and less harmful treatments for prostate cancer.

Story

In October 2021, we lost our dad, Albert Simpson to secondary Prostate Cancer. He was our world, and without doubt the most influential man in our lives.

In his honour, and to mark the first anniversary of life without him, I'm taking on the TCS London Marathon, one of the most iconic races in the world, to support Prostate Cancer Research.

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed male cancer in the UK, yet current treatments are limited and can be harmful particularly for the late stages.

Prostate Cancer Research funds research into more effective treatments for prostate cancer with the aim creating a future where people are free from the impact of the disease.

Your fundraising will support innovative scientists with bold ideas working collaboratively to achieve results and who put patient voice at the heart of their decisions making a real difference to the lives of people affected.

Any donation will help me and my family get one step closer to my target and will help to support Prostate Cancer Research in achieving their mission. Thank you so much, it really means a lot. And together,  we can all make a difference in tackling Prostate Cancer
