We are riding the 5 Ferries Challenge to raise money for the Beatson Pebble Appeal which funds world class cancer research at the University of Glasgow.

My wife, Callum and Lorna's mum, Debbie Farquhar, has been a volunteer fund raiser for BPA for many years but earlier this year was diagnosed with breast cancer herself. Debbie has had a successful operation with a clear biopsy and excellent prognosis but is currently undergoing 7 months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. During this period she has continued to give her time to volunteer at our local Children's Hospice when she has felt well enough and has kept sharing that beautiful smile.
