Ok now everyone has stopped laughing yes it's true I am running (well maybe walking quite a bit of)  the Great North Run. 

I am taking part to support RVI tiny lives special baby care unit. These people do amazing work not only saving the lives of premature babies but supporting their parents during this worrying and stressful time. 

I am running in memory of my little boy, who was born at 22 weeks sadly not a baby who made it to special care but if he had I know he would have been givenue the best care. Also for a friends little boy who shares his memory date with Gabriel. A parent never gets over the loss of a child but we can make a difference to those who are going through it.
