I am organizing an Easter Egg run to the Acorns children's hospice with the Awesome Gloster Meteors branch of the Triumph Owners Club. Two of my yoga students have children with complex medical needs & have used the services that Acorns provide. It's been a traditional thing for motorcycle groups to do Easter egg runs & Santa Toy runs at Christmas. After speaking with our area fundraiser she informed me that most of the children at the hospice cannot actually eat chocolate, or in fact are mostly tube fed, so suggested that the money we'd have spent on an Easter egg we could maybe donate directly to the charity, thus paying for the services these children so desperately need. We can still visit the hospice and take a few donated Easter eggs & cakes, that can be shared with the staff & siblings of the children.
