My mother was a great adventuress. She was also a huge supporter of this amazing charity, right up until her recent death. As well as being a purposeful and somewhat challenging way to mark my 70th year, I know she would have been encouraging of my joining this trek to help raise vital funds.

“Orphanages do not protect children, they harm them”, which is why this charity works tirelessly towards a day when every child can grow up in a loving family.
