Each year, we here at Delves Green Road Allotments help support a charity.
We are proud to announce that we have chosen to support the Acorns Children's Hospice Trust Charity for 2021. It’s great to be able to support a fantastic local charity which is literally on our doorstep and provides care to children and families in our region.
Acorns is a registered UK charity which offers a network of palliative care and support to life-limited and life-threatened children and their families across the West Midlands region and part
of South West England.
Each year Acorns provide a network of specialist palliative nursing care and support for babies, children and young people aged 0-18 who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and associated complex needs.
Last year we were devastated that we had to cancel all of our planned events due to Government restrictions and lost the chance to raise funds for our chosen charity, hopefully in 2021 we will be able to get back on track and hit our
target.
