Story
On the 28th April (two days before my 20th Birthday!!) I will be cutting at least 12 inches from my hair for The Little Princess Trust.
From the age of 4 right up until now (aged 19) I have been blessed with naturally long blonde hair. I know I have taken it for granted over the years, getting the very same haircut each time.. ‘just a small trim’.
Over the past few weeks I have been reading up The Little Princess Trust organisation and how they provide real hair wigs to those who are losing their hair or have never had any, perhaps due to cancer treatments or other illnesses - free of charge. This amazing charity set up by two parents after loosing their little girl to Wilms Tumour - a type of kidney cancer. They now spend their time helping other children feel like little princesses/princes again.
For anyone who knows me, you’ll know how much my hair means to me and you probably associate me with having extremely long hair, although it sounds trivial in comparison, it’ll be understandable how big of a change this will be - I’ve never had short hair before. I mean, my hair will grow back, I am doing this for the children who have never or will never been able to say that.
So, from now until the 28th of April I am fundraising as much money as possible to go towards the Little Princess Trust. I hope you can join me on donating to this incredible charity as it is something that means so much to me. Please, if you can't donate feel free to share the page, the more people that see this, the more money is likely to be raised. There is no donation too small - every penny adds up!
Thank you so much for your support.
