I am going to Ankara in Turkey on the 2nd July to visit Syrian orphans. Working with Human Care Syria, I will visit the orphans to deliver educational games, books, equipment and furniture.

Turkey is the biggest host of refugees in the world, with over 3.5 million Syrians. 1.3 million are children.

Orphans are amongst the most vulnerable as they do not have the same opportunities as other children, and often forced into child labour to survive and miss out on a normal childhood.

Please help me by donating towards the educational games, books, equipment and furniture. I will be personally delivering these items myself as I visit the orphans.

In addition to asking for funding, I am also looking to complete a run. Running from my office in Edinburgh back to my hotel and near Edinburgh castle (over 10.5km). Those who know me, know that I don’t run... so this will be a personal challenge and an achievement.

Please note all funds raised will go directly towards the charity, all travel costs and accommodation will be paid for by myself.
