Story

Natural & Built Environment's intrepid runners are running the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 14th April 2019 to raise money with #TeamHallam and Hallam Fund. The Hallam Fund provides support to our student community by allowing them to overcome barriers and access the best opportunities. Coming to and studying at university can be a challenging and life-changing experience for any student. But if you are a student from a care background, you are estranged from your family or a carer yourself then additional pressures can mount.By donating to the Hallam Fund, you will provide crucial emergency funding to cover accommodation costs, living expenses and one-off grants to allow disadvantaged students to spend more time on their studies without the worry of additional financial burden. You can give students the security and recognition needed to make the most of what university can offer, regardless of their personal circumstances.
