Story

Hi All,

Earlier this year I received some very sad and worrying news, a good friend of mine had been diagnosed with Leukaemia. I am however very pleased to say he has battled through the worst of it, is on the road to recovery and doing very well indeed.

When I heard the news I wanted to do all I could which is natural for everyone I am sure but with such a condition there is not a great deal you can do other than offer your support,  be there if needed and pray that everything works out.

I became a blood donor and also joined The Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow register, this was quite an eye opener with regard to what The Anthony Nolan Trust do and the costs involved in being a donor, finding matches, funding treatment etc etc etc...the list goes on - so I decided to try and raise some money for them.

I wanted to do something a little bit different so started looking through forthcoming events etc and I certainly found something different....

On Sat 28th November I will be joining a team of people who will spend the night in Mont Orgueil Castle from 8pm  - 5am on a Paranormal Tour with the "bad boy" of the psychic world, Ian Lawman, looking for any paranormal activity...yes, Ghosts !

Will we see anything...who knows, will I believe it...who knows, will I sh*t myself...HOPE NOT!

Guests have seen a white figure walking through the many rooms of the castle, a baby has been heard crying even though there is no baby there. People have often suddenly felt ill or scared in certain rooms. There is also a tale of a young girl staring from a window and seeing soldiers marching into the castle.

I appreciate this is not on the same level as running a marathon, swimming the channel or climbing K2 but I will be in a castle for 9 hrs with a team of loony's (don't tell them I said that) hunting for ghosts...I may never sleep properly again !

The Anthony Nolan Trust is an invaluable charity and I hope you will agree therefore I would be extemely grateful if you could show your support and dontate some money to help them continue with their life changing efforts.
