Now time for the X factor bit.

As some of you might know I have chronic pancreatitis and have had for four years now. It's a condition that I think it's fair to say is a pain. it's when half your pancreas packs up that produces the enzymes to break down fatty foods. And separates the good bits. So not to be too crude be running can be interesting when sometimes you end up jumping in a ditch like a dog. Not fun.

Four years ago when this all started we didn't know what it was. I would go to work unloading the lorry about half of it by hand and go home to my family . Phoebe our youngest daughter was just born and I remember coming home tied from work but excited to see my girls. I would play with Tabitha for a bit then hold Phoebe. Sometimes after about thirty seconds or so I would have no energy and feel like I was going to pass out. So I had to put her down when all I wanted to do was hold our new baby. That was hard not having the energy to play and hold my girls. 

But that a side I thought I'd do a marathon or two a week apart. After Berlin marathon going to the toilet a LOT and being in a lot of pain I Thought a double marathon with proper training ish this time will show that pancreas who's boss! Also to thank my wife for supporting me whilst I do these things.x
