Story

On June 4th I will be taking part in Ironman Hamburg. It's a triathlon that involves a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and finishes with a 26.2 mile run. It's not my first Ironman, I've a few before, but this one gives me the opportunity to fundraise in memory of one of my best mates, Ben, who passed away in October 2022.

Ben never did an Ironman, but he did just about everything else, he was an incredibly infectious idiot with a zest for life. Never one for whingeing or moaning he just got on with it, and that will be the kind of energy pushing me on.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.

I would be incredibly grateful if you can donate and I will be doing my very best to make Ben proud #bemoreben
